Big Changes Coming

CCF Family,

We are writing to share some exciting news about the future of Circle City Fellows.

Your participation in our mission, your support, and your financial contributions have been invaluable, and we sincerely thank you. We’ve built relationships and changes lives through this fellowship, and that is the foundation that makes possible what we're about to share.

Over the past year, the Board and our Executive Director, David Bell, have been thoughtfully evaluating CCF's future—considering the changing dynamics of our fellows, the evolving needs of Indianapolis, and the best path forward for this mission.

During this time, David shared his decision to step down as Executive Director at the end of June. In the succeeding months, we identified Richard Morris, CCF Class of 2025 and co-facilitator of this year's fellowship, as the right person to lead our organization moving forward. Richard is an excellent fit for this role; not only is he an Alum of CCF, but he also has a valuable background as a seminary graduate and years of work in non-profit leadership.

David Bell (left), and Richard Morris—the perfect choice for CCF’s leadership.

From there, we’ve been prayerfully discerning what the next chapter will look like.  God's timing, as always, has been perfect.

Effective July 2026, Circle City Fellows will integrate into Together Indy, a Christ-centered community dedicated to fostering unity among churches across Indianapolis and pursuing justice, mercy, and transformation for our city. From the beginning, CCF has focused on helping people see how their work matters to God and matters to our city. That mission isn't ending—it's finding a bigger home. Together Indy shares our heart for Indianapolis, and joining forces will allow this work to expand its reach and meet the changing needs of our community.

Jeff Krajewski of Together Indy shares their excitement about this partnership: "TGI is excited to pursue integration with CCF because of their years of experience in creating formation spaces for Christians to explore how their faith guides their work. Their proven cohort model is a perfect fit with TGI's vision for creating similar experiences for pastors to build trust across differences that lead to transformation in our city. We believe these two cohort tracks will be complementary and mutually beneficial in expanding the reach of both visions."

This decision didn't come lightly, but it came with great clarity, and we are genuinely excited about what's ahead.

Of the many details that will be forthcoming, we want to highlight three timely updates today:

  1. As CCF integrates into Together Indy and Richard works with TGI's leadership to evaluate the most effective path forward for CCF programming, there will not be a new CCF fellowship cohort in September 2026. This pause will allow time for discernment about how CCF can best serve potential participants within its new home.

  2. Donors—particularly those who support CCF on a recurring basis —will receive additional separate communication about what this transition means for you. That communication will include how you can help CCF finish fiscally strong through June, and an opportunity to see your gifts matched dollar for dollar starting in July, as CCF moves into the fold of Together Indy.

  3. We will celebrate and commission the Class of 2026 with our Spring Celebration on Thursday, May 7 at Switchboard in Fountain Square. This evening will also be an opportunity to honor David's years of faithful service to CCF and to celebrate Richard as he steps into leadership of the Fellows program.  Please join us! We'd love to celebrate with you. Get details here.

Thank you for being part of the Circle City Fellows story and for joining us as it continues.

With gratitude and excitement,

The Circle City Fellows Board of Directors
